My dad said, “Paper is cheap.”
My father used to say, “Paper is cheap. Don’t skimp on it when you do your calculations. Use as much of it as you need until you solve the equation.”
Of course, cheap is relative. And in the context of solving for x, y and all else in the Greek alphabet, paper is cheap.
You see my father was a Math professor – that’s just one of his titles in this mind-boggling field of numbers and symbols. And so, back in my high school days (gazillions of years ago) and even through college, I was lucky enough to have someone tutor me with my math and stat problems.
I miss him, this tutor dad of mine.
